London Transport operated five Thames Traders fitted with radically different doubledeck Strachan bodies. They were numbered TT1 to TT5.

The lower deck was reserved for the cycles that are banned from the tunnels. The upperdeck involved the riders in a feat of mountaineering unprecedented in any other British doubledeckers.

The trial lasted only a short time, and the buses were disposed off through Don Everall in Wolverhampton. But they never saw further use....
