This operator was started by the engineering-skilled Dosanjh family to provide specialised local authority transport for the elderly and for schools.
It has now branched out into stage carriage provision, and increasingly uses larger size vehicles - though specialist buses are still in service.
The fleet livery is white and blue. Green and yellow Volvo B6s were a corporate colour scheme used for Strood tunnel replacement shuttle which ASD operated alongside King's Ferry and Ensignbus.
The first generation MCW 'deckers have gone, with Olympians and Scanias now appearing on the streets of Medway.
The operating premises now features a fully-equipped inspection facility. It provides Britain's first all-type inspection facility for the Transport Inspectors between 0800 and 1500 hrs, is available at other times, but additionally provides full maintenance facilities for the company.
It reflects the love of the founder, "Ash" Dosanjh, for vehicle engineering.
